James Parker

Townsend – James Luther Parker, 30, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Brunswick.  He lived in McIntosh County most of his life and worked in the construction field.  He attended South Newport Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Judy Young, Luther Jackson, and his aunt, Lisa Cauley.

Survivors are his parents, Pam Douberley (Everett) of Townsend, and Timmy Parker of Hudson, FL; brother, Lee Parker (Mickie) of Indianapolis, IN; Paternal grandmother, Carolyn Jackson of Darien; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 6, from 5-7 PM at Howard Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, March 7, at 11 AM at Youngs Island Community Church Cemetery with Pastor Danny Stilwell officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Doyle Ryals, Jr., William Cauley, Corbett DeLoach, Tony O’Neal, Gary Andrews, Jr., Steven Andrews, and Bruce Cauley.
